Carriage Services Announces Senior Management Promotions
HOUSTON, Dec 14, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Carriage Services, Inc. (NYSE: CSV) today announced that the Board has promoted two members of its senior management team.
Joe Saporito, age 51, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the financial and administrative functions of the Company. He had been Senior Vice president and Chief Financial Officer since September 2002, prior to which he was a partner of Andersen Worldwide and Arthur Andersen LLP for 15 years and served as Division Head of the Houston Commercial Audit Division.
Chuck Sidun, age 50, has been appointed Senior Vice President of Funeral Operations. Mel Payne had been acting as head of funeral operations since August 2003. Mr. Sidun joined the Carriage Services organization when he and his family transitioned the Sidun Funeral Group, Red Bank, New Jersey, into Carriage in 1997. After assisting in the development and rollout of the funeral division's new Being The Best Standards operating model in 2003, Mr. Sidun had been serving as interim Regional Partner for the Midwest Region of the funeral division.
