Carriage Services Closes Conejo Mountain Acquisition in Ventura County, California

HOUSTON, April 3, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Carriage Services, Inc. (NYSE: CSV) announced today that it has closed on its previously announced acquisition of Conejo Mountain Funeral Home and Memorial Park ("Conejo Mountain") in Camarillo, California. Conejo Mountain performs approximately 390 cemetery interments and 275 funeral services annually.

Melvin C.
